Katie Tollefson

Katie is the Assistant Director of the International Faculty and Staff Services office. She graduated from UW-Madison with a Bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Studies, and later from UW-Platteville with a Master’s degree in Higher Education Personnel. Katie began working at the UW in 2008 at the School of Medicine and Public Health as a Human Resources Specialist. In 2014, she joined the IFSS team. Katie specializes in H-1B specialty occupation petitions, but also provides assistance with E-3 specialty occupation petitions for Australians, TN petitions for Canadian and Mexican professionals, and O-1 petitions for Individuals with Extraordinary Ability.
